Fundraiser: We Fund "Shea for Mayor" Signs!

Knowing hundreds of my signs have been vandalized and stolen, local residents expressed their concern, disappointment even anger in different ways. They commented on social media and sent in e-comments during city meetings; they talked to the press and called police; they took pictures of sign vandalizing suspects (and their cars) and reported to my campaign.
A local neighbor group "Sweet Home Irvine" is initiating a fundraiser "We Fund 'Shea for Mayor' Signs", to assist my campaign to order more signs. It's touching.
Please join in my zoom fundraiser event Thursday, September 24, 8 PM. Everybody is welcome!
Thank you for your support! 😄

The master-planned City of Irvine ranks among America’s top 10 healthiest cities in three recent studies conducted by Anthem Foundation, Niche and WalletHub. (Pictured here: Shady Canyon Trail, March 2020)

Good news. Irvine has gained a new accolade, perhaps its most important.

Three recent studies – by Anthem Foundation’s “Fittest Cities in America,” Niche’s “Healthiest Places to Live in America,” and WalletHub’s “Healthiest U.S. Cities” – all ranked Irvine among America’s top 10 healthiest cities.

The studies found that residents are fitter and happier due to convenient access to the things that promote a healthy lifestyle, like parks, open space, bike trails and quality medical care.

The master-planned city was designed 60 years ago with a goal to create a place “where nature and people prosper,” and this balance benefits residents today.

COVID Orange County update: New COVID-19 testing site opens for 30-day period in Irvine

Cars were lined up at Orange County's Great Park on Monday for the first day of a 30-day COVID-19 testing period for people who live and work in Irvine -- the first city in the county to offer such testing regardless of symptoms.

"We get so many calls that our residents don't know where to go get tested," Irvine Mayor Christina Shea said. "It's been very confusing, so we thought if we open up our great park and allow for drive-thru testing, this would give our residents an opportunity to drive through."

OC Veterans Cemetery Declaration

Here is a public declaration of our Orange County Veterans who support the Veterans Cemetery in the Great Park at the cost effective Golf Course site.

Contrary to Harvey Liss' false public statements, there is not full funding for the ARDA site, it hasn't been approved by the Federal Govt, and in fact it is 40 million dollars more than the Golf Course site proposal.

Please don't be fooled and don't sign their Build the Veterans Cemetery Now petition. It's a bad option.

Thank you,
Christina Shea
